Do you know MaliQ? Have you heard the name before? If your answer is no, then you are not all that current. Ask the next person close to you. Who knows, He/She might be a die hard Fan of his. To serve you the stress, let me tell you about the Wonder Boy known as Indigenous MaliQ.

His real name is Nsidibe Sunday Ukim but famously known by his stage name_MaliQ and other a.k.a’s like Ikpa Udoh, Lyrical Edidem etc. He is from Nsit Ibom LGA of AKSidi. The 20 year old unsigned talented music artiste was a member of the defunct music group known as TUBEEZ which dropped the popular Efik Version of Ice Prince’s Oleku about a Year ago. He spits the hottest flows in English and Efik of which he is popularly known for. No wonder the title Indigenous is added to his stage name.

In an interview with the up rising Super Star, he revealed that though his originality stands out, he is influenced by the likes of Busy Signal, Ludacris, EL and Sarkodie. He has also worked with the likes of Pope DonX, IllRhymes, Otyno and Bobby Frank. He also told us that he has worked on songs with Pattina, Zillions, Sagas, Cafenol and MrRoar which are yet to be released. He has performed in top flight shows in town and he is preparing to perform at the AKWA-IBOM MUSIC FESTIVAL which is slated for September 21, 2012.
